New Ceremonial Uji Matcha Powder Kirica & Rikou
New Product Announcement
Discover the Depth of Uji Matcha — Now Offering Kirica and Rikou
We’re excited to introduce two new ceremonial-grade matcha varieties: Kirica and Rikou, crafted entirely in Uji, Kyoto — a region with over 800 years of tea-making tradition.
Both are single-origin matcha, cultivated and processed exclusively in Uji using only shade-grown tencha leaves. These matcha focus not on vivid color, but on the depth of umami, smooth texture, and balanced flavor — ideal for those who appreciate refined taste.
Kirica
A rich and mellow ceremonial-grade matcha featuring the popular cultivar Okumidori, known for its exceptional balance of sweetness and umami.
Kirica offers a gentle, low-bitterness profile, smooth mouthfeel from finely milled powder, and a lingering savoriness that invites slow, thoughtful sipping.
Ideal for those seeking deep umami and a refined matcha experience.
Rikou
Rikou is a well-balanced blend of select cultivars, designed for a light and smooth drinkability with a touch of refreshing bitterness and subtle sweetness.
Its soft complexity and clean aftertaste make it easy to enjoy daily — perfect for matcha beginners and enthusiasts alike. Also great for lattes and creative drinks.
A versatile, easy-to-enjoy matcha with natural umami and gentle bitterness.
