UnD is a Japanese brand centered on matcha and tea. We work with tea producers and suppliers across Japan, selecting teas by origin, cultivar, processing method, and intended use. UnD began with Japanese shokupan—the bread at the heart of many Japanese sandwiches. That beginning shaped our name and logo: by placing different words between “Un” and “D,” new expressions and meanings emerge. Like a sandwich bringing ingredients together in endless combinations, UnD carries that idea forward today by placing matcha and Japanese tea at the center of a broader experience of Japanese food and culture—one that also includes bread and pastry.
