Wakoucha and Vanilla from Kumamoto

Two Kumamoto Ingredients
Real vanilla beans from Tobase Island make up twenty percent of this blend. They meet wakoucha from Minamata in the same prefecture, placing both the tea and the vanilla within Kumamoto.
The beans are part of the material composition, not a trace of flavoring. Hot water releases their aroma immediately. The wakoucha supplies the body required to carry it through the finish.

Tea Made at Ishitobi
Amano Seichaen grows the base tea on the Ishitobi Plateau, around 630 meters above sea level, without pesticides or chemical fertilizer. Cultivation and tea making are handled by the producer in Minamata.
Wakoucha made by Amano Seichaen has received recognition in Japanese and international tea competitions. In this blend, that tea-making experience appears as a smooth, low-astringency base that remains clear beneath the vanilla.
The awards belong to the producer's teas, not to this flavored blend. The Vanilla Wakoucha is described through its own materials: Minamata black tea and Tobase Island vanilla beans.
Drinking
Heals
We present Japanese tea and matcha as part of the Drinking Heals collection. In Japan, IPPUKU describes a brief pause—sometimes with tea, sometimes with a cigarette. Drinking Heals reimagines IPPUKU through Japanese tea. Inspired by the familiar warning “ Smoking Kills ” , it proposes another message: “ Drinking Heals .” A moment once associated with tobacco becomes a quiet ritual of water, tea, and time.
