Lemongrass Hojicha combines certified organic deep-roasted hojicha with certified organic lemongrass, both from Kumamoto. The herb brings a fresh, lemon-like aroma. The roasted green tea gives the blend warmth, body, and a clean finish.

Organic Hojicha and Lemongrass
Two Kumamoto Ingredients
The hojicha and lemongrass in this blend are both grown and prepared in Kumamoto under organic certification. They enter the cup with different roles.
Deep roasting removes the grassy edge of green tea and develops a warm, steady base. Lemongrass rises above it with a fresh herbal aroma that recalls lemon without becoming a citrus flavoring.
Both ingredients come from the same prefecture, but they are not made to taste alike. The regional connection is material: Kumamoto-grown tea and herb, certified organic, prepared as one measured blend.
Aroma and Roast
Heat brings the roasted tea forward and lets the lemongrass open gradually. Over ice, the herb leads while the hojicha remains underneath as body and finish.
The composition depends on keeping the two materials clear. One supplies aroma. The other supplies depth. Neither needs to imitate the other.
The result remains recognizably hojicha rather than a scented herbal infusion. Roast carries the middle of the cup, and lemongrass keeps the finish clean.
