We present Japanese tea and matcha as part of the Drinking Heals Collection. In Japan, there is a traditional practice called IPPUKU —a brief moment to reset the mind and body, often by drinking a cup of matcha or tea, and sometimes by smoking a cigarette. This project reinterprets IPPUKU in a modern context, presenting Japanese tea in cigarette-style packaging as an artistic and mindful alternative. Inspired by the familiar tobacco warning “ Smoking Kills ” , we propose a new message: “ Drinking Heals ,” positioning Japanese tea as a beautiful and healthy ritual.
Blended with organic German chamomile and deeply roasted organic hojicha from Kumamoto, this tea offers a harmonious balance of floral sweetness and toasty richness. Chamomile is renowned for its calming and sleep-enhancing properties, while the roasted hojicha provides a soothing, earthy depth. Perfect for winding down after a long day, this tea promotes relaxation and stress relief, making it the ideal choice for peaceful moments of calm and tranquility.
